For The Yoga Lover!

Ladybug in the dead bug yoga pose.

I practice yoga, and thought this would make for a great drawing.  A ladybug demonstrating the dead bug, yoga pose.  This looks great on a shirt!

Nowhere But Up From Here!

Inspired by the movie, UP!  I thought this would make a great painting.  Two love bugs gazing at each other as they float up into the sky.  Titled, Nowhere But Up From Here.

The Chubby Ladybug :@)

You normally would not see a “Chubby” ladybug, so I thought this would be a great drawing!  She has had a bit to much greenery, and may need to see an eye doctor!

Two Love Bugs :)

So here is another painting to add to my ladybug series.  Two love bugs gazing at each other as one sits up high on the letter L, and the other looks up at her. The word LOVE stands in front of a purple heart made from paint splatter. Letters are painted in blue. Ladybugs are red with black polka-dots. Background in pink pain splatter.

The Butterfly With An Attitude ~

I love God’s beautiful creatures, (Cockroaches, not so much!!).  I made this Butterfly with some metallic and fluorescent colors.  She has that look to her, like, don’t mess with me!  So much fun creating this little creature, with big bulging eyes.
The butterfly with an attitude is colored in a metallic blue, with fluorescent green and fuchsia swirls. Background of blue speckled skies, with purple, and pink flowers.

Love At First Sight ;)

I truly enjoyed creating this image!  Two love bugs, finding each other for the first time.  Love at first sight!  To think that using digital crayons could look this great!?!  For the background, I used the airbrush!  Grass was made by digital stickers.  So much fun! 🙂  I’ve put this image on many products, that you can view at my web store, www.Zazzle.com/OneArtsyMomma*
Two ladybugs find each other between a bunch of colorful flowers. It's love at first sight for these two love bugs. Green grass beneath them, flowers are of purple, pink, and blue with green stems. Speckled blue skies all around them.

Getting The Creative Juices Flowing ;)

Here are my most recent abstract paintings.  Loved creating these two paintings :0)

Why Can’t We Be Friends?

It’s been a while since my last drawing of a ladybug.  Here is my latest.  A huge hairy spider looking down at his next meal.  I can just imagine if bugs could really talk, that the poor ladybug would be asking the spider, “Why can’t we be friends?”.

Love & Peace

When the power of love is stronger then the love of power, the world will know peace~

The Lone Hydrangea & Colorful Dragonfly.

As long as I don’t overanalyze what to draw or paint, I end up with some pretty nice paintings. I’m truly enjoying using watercolors and oil paints. I used both to create this painting of the purple lone hydrangea and dragonfly.
