This little frog was inspired by a recent visitor in my garden — a tiny gray tree frog I discovered tucked away while cleaning out one of my flower planter boxes. After safely moving him closer to our pond, I couldn’t stop thinking about how fascinating frogs truly are.

That inspiration led to this whimsical frog illustration holding a heart.
I created this piece using markers and ink, slowly layering colors and details to bring him to life. I especially enjoyed creating his oversized eyes and tiny froggy fingers wrapped around the heart.

One thing I love most about creating art is how it encourages me to slow down and appreciate the little moments in life, much as frogs and turtles do in nature.
