Australian Pink Robin Watercolor

This beautiful Australian Pink Robin grabbed my attention while searching for my next watercolor painting.

Australian Pink Robin

Australian Pink Robins are found in the forests of southeastern Australia and have the most vibrant pink bellies. They are the cutest little birds, only weighing a whopping 10 grams stand around 11 cm tall, and have a wingspan of just 22 cm. The Australian Pink Robin will surely leave an impression on you whether you’re painting, photographing, or simply admiring.

This beautiful and one-of-a-kind watercolor original painting is now available for purchase. Details: Watercolor and ink, 5.5 x 8.5 140lb paper, $100.00. Free shipping in the USA. If you are interested in purchasing, please send an email to OneArtsyMomma@msn.com. Prints will be available in the near future.

I Sold My First Original Painting!

The happy recipient of my first original painting, Meagan Brown.

I am super excited to share this great news! I have sold my very first original painting!! Thank you to my friends, Mr. and Mrs. Brown, for purchasing my “Owl Lovers” watercolor painting. They gifted this painting to their daughter, Meagan.

I am excited about this new way of sharing my art. I have always created my art digitally in the past, and now I am experimenting with watercolors and having an absolute blast with this fun medium. Creating on paper rather than my computer screen and stylus is entirely different.

I plan to start selling my original paintings, prints, and other products. To receive weekly updates on my current art pieces, please follow me on Instagram and Facebook @OneArtsyMomma.

Ernesto the Owl

I used an H pencil to trace Ernesto.
When using watercolors, it’s all about layering colors. So fun!!

I am happy to introduce to you all “Ernesto the Owl.”
I’m currently using watercolor pencils to create this cutie pie. I hope to share my progress with you all daily.

I’m debating on whether to change the background. Stay tuned.

Introducing “Ernie the Egret and his Friends.”

I’m very close to finishing my latest piece, Ernie the Naked Egret. I’ve been enjoying creating this sweet bird. I started this on pencil and paper, then finished it digitally with my ArtRage software. This painting is part of my Wildlife Series.

Owl Always Love Them!

I find that owls are fascinating and majestic birds.  They are my favorite birds, and I truly enjoy painting them.  This is an older watercolor painting of mine, called the “Odd Owl.”

Ernie the Egert and his Clan Illustration

Introducing, Ernie the Egert and his clan.  The past several months I have been stepping into a whole new realm of creating art.

I have always used my ArtRage software to create, but lately, I have been using the real deal.  This is just one of my many new creations, using just pencil and paper.  My ultimate dream is to illustrate a Children’s book someday very soon.

Penetrating Looks

As an artist, I love to view and promote my fellow artists pieces.  Here is one that I adore.  “Penetrating Looks,” by Live-Art.  https://society6.com/product/penetrating-looks_print?curator=oneartsymomma
