Stacy’s Sunflower

Stacy’s Sunflower 2020

I’m finally finished with “Stacy’s Sunflower.”

On February 4, 2020, my best friend lost her battle to cancer. She put up a good fight for four years. My heart is broken, but it helps to know she is in a better place and at peace. Stacy and I have known each other since high school. We shared many great memories.

This sunflower represents the love and friendship I had for her. I was so very blessed to have a friend like her.

Her memory will live on in my heart for the rest of my days.

May she Rest In Peace. ❤️

Sunflowers

Who loves Sunflowers? I absolutely love them, along with Gerberas. I love how they are so big, round and vibrant.

Lately, I have been creating art with the real deal, pencil and paper. I usually only create with my computer, but for some reason I felt it was time to go back to how it all started for me. I am really enjoying this medium.

I find creating is very therapeutic to me. It’s when I can listen to my favorite music and let all my troubles melt away. It’s so relaxing to me. I am grateful to have this gift to create art.
